OG Booster Club Fundraiser

All of these little nails were part of the fundraiser I did last week for The Olympic Carnival at Oceanside Gymnastics in Cali where my daughter goes. Myself and 2 other wonderful mothers from our Booster Club painted nails and charged $5-$15 per set. It was so much fun and all the girls were so happy with their manis.

The most popular was obviously the Olympic set. It was a pain in the butt to do but after seeing how happy each girl was it made it all worth the hard work.... Not to mention the $170 we made in just a couple of hours.

I totally recommend other nail artists to do events like this if you have the time to donate. It is so simple to raise money and you feel accomplished and satisfied with all of the art you get to put on little girls' nails.

I wish I would have taken pictures of all the nails that we did. Unfortunately I only got these pics. I get caught up in the art and forget to take pictures after each mani is done. I also forget to collect the money so I always make sure to have someone else doing that.

If you would like to do a fundraiser like this These are some recommendations...

1. Have at least 2 other people helping you with the event. Their duties would be to do base coats, base colors, and top coats. Also to collect money and organise a waiting list.

2. Create a display of your Art. This is also great for advertising your event. That way people can see what kind of work you can do.

3. Take pictures of the nails. Make sure your not taking pictures of the faces because then you have deal with release forms and its just too much drama.

I can't think of anything else right now.

4. Oh yeah... Have Fun!
